The ceremony of Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace is a focal point for the many thousands of tourists who visit London each year.  This takes place in front of Buckingham Palace at 11.25am daily from April to August and on alternate days from September to March.

BBC Proms 2010

The greatest classical music festival on earth returns to London's Royal Albert Hall. It's time for the Proms! "Proms" is short for Promenade concert: informal and inexpensive concerts where Promenaders ("Prommers") pay just £5 for a ticket.

The State Rooms, Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace serves as both the office and London residence of Her Majesty The Queen. It is one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today.
