Location, location, location. It definitely helps if your home is in within short walking distance of a London Underground tube station or good travel links, such as bus routes and mainline train stations.
Each property we market is a private home: guests who book through us have made the deliberate decision to stay in more intimate surroundings as opposed to a characterless hotel room.
Between one and three guest bedrooms is the norm: any more than this and homes can start to lose their friendly, “home from home” appeal. Rooms can be double, twin or single.
Each bedroom should have either an ensuite or separate, private bathroom. In exceptional cases we do market guest bedrooms with shared bathrooms, for instance, where a bathroom can be shared between family members or close friends. We know from experience that our guests prefer not to share.
Your home should have high–quality furniture and furnishings, and preferably be oozing with elegance and style. We by no means have a fixed idea of what this style may be and we very much appreciate that each person’s home is unique.
