About Us

London Eye Millennium Wheel Must see London tourist attraction Southbank

Wonderful homes with welcoming hosts at affordable prices is, and has always been, the philosophy of The Bed and Breakfast Club.

The Bed and Breakfast Club, formerly The Bulldog Club, was established in 1988.  At this time, the choice of accommodation for tourists and business people was either at an extremely expensive hotel or - at the other end of the scale - a pretty dreadful bed and breakfast.

Our founder realised that there was a way of providing a quintessentially British experience to tourists and stylish luxury to business people. It also gave The Bed and Breakfast Club hosts the opportunity to welcome guests from around the world into their beautiful homes.

In 2005 Emma Crane-Robinson took over the running of The Club. For years she’d worked in the more exclusive end of the travel world but believed that there must be a way of offering all that style and service without it necessarily costing the earth. The Bulldog Club was a perfect fit.

In 2010 Emma was joined by Carol Ann Nicholls, whose background is in Corporate Communications. They changed the company name to The Bed and Breakfast Club, but couldn't get rid of the bulldog completely, and have kept him as their company mascot!

So though a lot has changed since 1988, the aim to provide exceptional accommodation in delightful bed and breakfasts has not. Nor has the charming manner and welcoming attitude of our hosts. Whether as a guest or as a home owner, we look forward to welcoming you to The Bed and Breakfast Club.
